Description:
The Adelaide Festival is Australia’s premier arts festival, taking place in Adelaide every second year. As part of the 2004 Festival, FCT Flames supplied nine LPG fuelled decorative flares for the temporary hub of the event, “Universal Playground”. The flares were mounted on towers around the perimeter of the venue and burned continuously every evening for the duration of the Festival.

The flame was automatically monitored such that if the flame was accidentally extinguished, the fuel supply was immediately turned off. The burner design was specifically designed to produce a 1m high flame with the necessary flame features required by the venue designers.
