Description:
The Adelaide Festival of Arts 2004 included an area known as "The Universal Playground" where a range of variety acts was staged every night of the event. The Festival Organisers sought FCT's assistance in highlighting "The Universal Playground" with flame features. FCT designed and manufactured 9 natural gas fired flares which were mounted on scaffolding and other structures throughout the area, and were ignited manually via electrical switching mechanisms. The flares were operated every night for the three week duration of the Festival.
